Artificial Intelligence (AI) is already revolutionizing our daily work routines, but how is it specifically transforming corporate communication? What tasks is AI employed for, and how transparent are we in its utilization? How do in-house teams and consultants communicate about its usage?

 

We conducted a survey to dive deeper into understanding how AI is impacting the corporate communication landscape. With your insights, we aim to shape comprehensive guidelines for ethical and effective use of AI within the corporate communications industry.

 

The deadline for filling in the survey has passed, we are now analysing the results.

 

We are glad to first invite our C Square members for a Teams meeting on the 5th of October at noon in which we reveal the results !

The respondents of the survey

In-house
68% have more than 10 years’ experience
It is mainly management (48%) and senior staff (36%). Fewer mediors (14%) participated and hardly any junior (2%) profiles
69% of respondents work for a Belgian (65%) company with more than 500 employees

Agency
A better spread in terms of seniority
26% have less than 5 years’ experience
20% have 6-10 years of experience
33% have 11-20 years of experience
22% have more than 20 years of experience in our profession
But again, these are mainly senior professionals
46% have a management profile
24% are senior employees
17% is junior
13% is junior
They mainly work for small Belgian (80%) companies with less than 50 employees (87%)

Freelancers
Here too, the more experienced professionals are strongly represented: 87% have more than 10 years of experience in our profession
